Adrian Ungur and Victor Hanescu, top seeded at BRD Sibiu Challenger

Pamira Tennis Academy will host between the 4th- 12th of August the first edition of the international tennis tournament BRD Sibiu Challenger, which is part of the ATP Challenger Tour circuit with total prize money of € 30,000 plus hospitality.

Ungur, Hanescu and Crivoi are on the main draw

The best Romanian tennis players will perform at BRD Sibiu Challenger. Victor Hanescu, Adrian Ungur and Victor Crivoi form the trio that qualified directly on the main draw.

The top two seeded are Adrian Ungur (102 ATP) and Victor Hanescu (123 ATP), followed by Inigo Cervantes (Spain, 130 ATP), Alessandro Giannessi (Italy, 134 ATP), Joao Sousa (Portugal, 143 ATP), Andreas Haider-Maurer (Austria, 157 ATP), Radu Albot (Moldova, 216 ATP) and Simone Vagnozzi (Italy, 223 ATP).

The great champion has a surprise for tennis fans as his trophies will be exhibited during the tournament week at the BRD stand.

BRD Sibiu Challenger general information

BRD Sibiu Challenger is a Media-tique Sport Division and McCann Romania initiative, supported by the Sibiu City Hall. The tournament is part of the Challenger series of four events organized in Romania during July-September 2012: BRD Arad Challenger, BRD Timisoara Challenger, BRD Sibiu Challenger and Ropharma Brasov Challenger presented by BRD. These four events, together with BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy are the only ATP tournaments held in Romania.
